Acc to Hindu newspaper after assessing the collections so far among the vishu releases,


Chronic Bachelor is a super hit
Thilakkam after good intial collection has flopped..they hav even chaged the climax to draw in more viewers>acc to newspaper this will be dileeps first flop after a long time
Kilichundan also hadgood initial collectoins but collection falling now ...Its a flop in South kerala-mohanlal`s strong hold ,whereas average collections in North kerala

Ente veedu apponteyam is not a hit..but it will be able to get back his pdtn cost since its a low budget film

  veruthe mandatharam ezhunnallikathe.Kilichundan no.1 in collection.now the bad opinion for the movie has changed.the movie is going to the no 1 hit in vishu.Viewers interested seeing the songs in channels.CB is average but better than Thillakam.CB has good collection also,then Thillakm is a worst movie,but the collection in the third place.Childrens like the movie and the publicity of swargachitra will help the film.Jayarams movie is good but poor collection.On the whole films KCM is good,b'coz it has good direction,standard comedies,songs,picturisation,acting from the genius actors and a good touching story.oro shottum manoharamanu.negative point is lack of comedy and the language problem in tvm-kollam area.But the film is good.

  Suryan, since the report is from Hindu, it should be reliable. There is an identical report in Sify too - however, they term KCM a hit. One thing is for sure - Thilakkam has lost it thilakkam!

  I don’t think the failure of Thilakkam is going to affect the star status of Dileep. It will obviously shake some armchair critics who were hell-bent to project him as some avatar and The Best Thing that have happened to Malayalam cinema. His strength – comedy – is going to be his tragedy in future - just like our ex-super Suresh Gopi found out when he couldn’t do anything else other than stretching his muscles in all his movies.   yes i agree,CB is also a hit.but the collection is no.1 for KCM,then CB.KCM made the profit byits 6 th day.But CB has good collection but still it didn't get no profit.It will collect also,I agree that KCM has a bad response from its 10th day,about the language used in the film,but after showing the songs,trailers there is good response from theatres.u can apply for detailed collection report in Sreekumar theatre,tvm.pinne mohanlalinte padathine kurichu kuttam parayunnathu lal fans thanneyanu.Devaddothan is the example.the vishu winners are KCM and CB.

  The movie is a hit in Trivandrum.
  seen the movie on its 20th day.Houseful.
  But..
  What we expect from a Siddique kind of a movie is totally
  missing in Chronic Bachelor.
  Comedy,the main forte of Sidhique is astonishingly missing.
  (though few scenes do evoke laughter).
  One cannot have the feel of getting reminded of movies like
  Kaanaamarayathu
  Mazhayethum Mumbe
  Padaiyappa
  I donno why the director had made Mammooty to act always as if in some sort
  of "Swaasam muttal".
  All the artistes have done justice to their roles but no character has depth.

  Few points I am surprised at:
  1.
  Has Siddique's creative pen lost?My expectations were high since
  after 3 years- a siddique movie.
  but The movie looks like a rajasenan,thulasidas brand and not siddiue's.
  especially the comedy is not even 20% as much i expected.
  
  Few things I liked in the movie are:
  1.Mammootty is 52 but still he looks convincingly younger
  2.The girl who plays his sister looks good;acts good
  3.one or 2 hearable songs

  of the vishu releases ,Chronic bachelor is the no 1 movie...Nothing new could be expected from the movie...But the film is not boring...it has got vey high collections in ernakulam....kilichundan and thilakkam run out of theatres..but CB is still running in Padma theatre...i didnt get ticket for balcony in the 70th day for CB.In trivandrum also CBis in Sreekumar and kilichundan is in SreeVisakh(small theatre).Mammooty is made a controlled performance in the film.Mukesh's comedy is good..How is Mammooty looks so glamourous in his old age?..Keep it up...Better go mammooty..Best of luck for pattalam"...i also saw kilichundan...the picturisation is good...Priyadarshan is making mohanlal a bafoon in the movie....no story..old thara thamasha...very much waste than dilips waste comedy...the songs are some what good...sreenivasan is only person who is ok in the movie...what happened to Mr mohanlal...what happens your acting..Mohanlal reduce your fat...hope for your next movie "balettan"
