  this is not to underestimate kishore's ability but ANIL, we have to nod to the fact that kishore has his limitation particularly in bhajans,patriotics and classical songs.A more perfect singer would be mohd rafi........who has excel in singing all types of music from

  Rafi gave us more variety.

  Both Rafi Sahab and Kishore da are legends in their own right and I feel it would not be right to compare the two. Whereas Rafi Sahab was a perfectionist, Kishore da was a genius capable of bringing out nuances extempore during live recordings. He was never trained classically, yet there was music in his blood. He had a rich voice. Rafi Sahab was a class of his own and a perfectionist as far as music was concerned, but Kishore da was an all-rounder - a write, composer, actor, musician, and a great singer. please do not compare these 2 legends and insult the great art called "Music".

  rafi sahab was not only a genius singer,as rightly said by great manna dey he was or is playback singing institution,but he was also a great human being and if you all are not aware when rajesh khanna was at his top and in film haathi mere saathi all songs were by kishor,but laxmi-pyare gave a song "nafrat ki duniya" to rafi sahaab and kishor had a fight with music directors because he wanted that song but ultimately rafi sahaab sang it and when rajesh khanna heard that song he was in tears and depth,versatlity and a great and simple human being like rafi sahaab are born once in century,he is my god.
