In India, millions of Dalits are being persecuted by so called upper class Hindus. They are killing thousands of Dalits just because they are Dalits
On the other hand, millions of daughter- in- laws in India are being persecuted and thousands of them are being forced to commit suicide for dowry.
Every day, there are communal riots in one or another town in India. Innocent people are becoming victims of such riots.
Terrorists are killing innocent people in mass every day.
We read daily newspapers and watch T.V. news everyday full of such incidents.
But none of us speak a single word of such persecutions and killings of human beings.
On the other hand we always speak about killings of animals (especially cows), small insects and invisible living beings even if they are harmful to us. We even speak about the life in green vegetables and underground vegetables and do not eat such vegetables because we do not want to kill them.
But we have nothing to do with killings of human beings. Isn’t it foolish?
We do not know the true meaning of Ahimsa, so we do not have any place for humanity in our mind.
Talking on killings of human being can be harmful to us so the best way is to run away from working for human rights (what is it?) That’s why we talk only on animal rights (we know it very well)

Please direct your question to Maneka Gandhi. She should be the first one to handle this question, she being in-charge of Welfare Ministry and an advocate of animal rights (often over human rights).

lower class or dalits has to suffer some way or other
not necessary by upper class .
well abt dowry .people r so hard hearted that they
help to kill their wife just for money.
it is true humans r being killed .
one human killing the other.A person himself should
think how can i kill the other when i can't give him
life.
Ahimsa means not to kill anybody whetehr it is human
or animal or any living thing.
now how people have taken it is ...........
the reason for such disaster is nothing but may be
money. A man kills Men .why ???????? i think only for
money .other reason can be person want to be at top
.he can't see the other on that place .
it's not, talking abt killing humans r harmful.people
talks abt taht also but there r only few who thinks
for animals.somebody must also be there thinking for
animals also .for humans we have government
,police.it's their job to restrict such things.
one should try to save life of everyone whether
visible or invisible .if u know there is life save it
don't destroy.he also has right to live .just 4 ur
benefit,taste don't kill anybody.
see u soon

For a nation that suppresses its own people in the name of caste, animal rights is a joke.
Some things should be handled on a war footing. Caste, poverty, basic amneties stand tall in that list. Infact, caste is a human rights issue. Glad brahmins didn't invent caste for animals(laughs here)

Do animal and human rights have to be mutually axclusive categories?
I dont think so.
The problem in both cases is human-made systems, games in which everyone looses.
