The Real Hindutva be implemented with immediate affect with whole manusmrithi applied to all aspects of current India. That is the only solution for today's social problems. Untouchables should not be given any rights according to Manusmrithi and we should follow what our great Guru MS Golwalkar was said earlier.

  you may be right, my friend, this is all probably a sick joke ... as for my reaction, well... those of you who know me from the forum know i can sometimes fly off the handle, for that i apologize if i offended anyone other than Ramanujam...
  i think you are right though..., i shouldnt give this person any more fuel for his fire...it just REALLY made me mad when i saw this... i'm tired of hate-threads, hate-groups, hate-literature etc...

  I have read the Topic taken and the responses.. It is paining that all these are here because of Poor and Wrong interpretation of our scriptures and Literatures. There was no concept of Untouchables etc according to original version. Veda said only about Varna not jaathi.. Varna comes from root word vri.. to absorb.. So 4 varnas are decided based on what you absorb. Same word was used by Krishna in Gita.. "chatur varnyam maya srishtam guna karma vibagasaha". Hence know that it is something like Research Wing, Admin Wing, Marketing/Commercial Wing and Worker Wing for the society. Anyone can get into any wing based on their Mental Faculty. Out of 12 Alwars of Vaishnavaites, 9 are as said Non-Brahmins but were given Status of Brahmins.. just because they attained that mental state. And in nayanmaars too same thing is seen.
  
  So manusmrithi says that persons who is not capable cannot be given Rights.. as he will either misuse or create danger.. something equivalent to Not giving password to all or Not giving rights of having GUN to Children and irresponsible Citizens.. Please note that it is not for anybody by Birth.

  In Vaishnavaite alwar, there is one alwar called Thiru Paanaazhwar who was a paanan(as said Low caste). Please read history about him. Once Loga Saranga Munivar(who was as said Brahmin), who was attached to Srirangam Temple knew about his Greatness, He carried Paanaazhvar in his shoulders publicly to the temple.
  
  Like that Kannappa Devan (who was a hunter and as said Low caste) is one of 63 nayanmaars.
  
  With all these one can easily infer that original version was Varna only that is by Based on Mental faculty not by birth. But later all these perversions have come in. We need to fight and take to original version.

  Now, dont try to sugarcoat & interpret Manusmriti.. U quoted BagavadGita..but I have seen in Manusmriti where the lines go like
  'Sudras be stoned', or, women be illtreated!
  Manusmriti is/was based on rights bequeathed by birth. AND THAT ALONE HAS BEEN THE INTERPRETATION
  and CUSTOMS OF BRAHMINS ALL CENTURIES LONG.

  Please understand like this. After all Manu's work is smrithi. There are lot of Smrithis. And moreover due to the age of our culture lot of interpolations came in. So our basic weightage is to see whether is it supporting to Vedas or not. If it is not supporting Vedas, then reject it. Why iam telling this is that people like Alwars and Nayanmars who came later did not practice these casteism based on birth. So interpolations in smrithis are there like this. But Vedas or Bhagavad Gita did not have any trace of this.
  
  Even Tholkappiam says "poyyum vazhuvum pukunda kaalai iyer yaatha karanam enba". Ilambooranar in his urai to this says that aadhi karanam= Vedas , iyer yaatha karanam= Smrithis.
  
  Point here is that interpolations were referred even in the time of tholkappiam. So our measure should be with respect to Vedas not with Smrithis.

  Brahmin's son cannot be called as Brahmin unless he gets into that Mental faculty. Will you call Collector's Son as Collector. Only after he also passes IAS and get posted we can call him. Those days people practiced in the families and attained the state. Elders took care of this. And being born as a son of brahmin helps him to get used to the formalities etc. That's all. But in our history we see other people(as said non-brahmins) became brahmins and respected. Eg: Valmiki, Vyaasa, 9 Alwars out of 12, 90% of Nayanmaars etc etc.
