LATELY
been waiting and staring
thinking of my future
not caring
reasons why i shouldn't die
pondering and stumbling
thoughts comming out dry
sitting between these four walls contained
i see myself on the inside
feelings and emotion drain
trying my best to stay sane
not knowing what to do with this pain
so i pick up this pad and pen
hoping if i write these thoughts
they won't come back again

  Watch the sun rise
  Hear the birds chirp.
  Chase a small pup
  Gather smiling baby in arms.
  I am sure God would help you ,
  To forget pain
  And teach you how to smile.
  For you have miles to Go.
