  Mohanlal and Srinivas are certainly a 'dynamic duo'. They complement each other very well and are one of the best 'hero-sidekick' combinations in malayalam movies. Remember the trio of C.I.D movies (Akare Ekare) that they were in??

  Really I don’t understand the sine qua non of any combination especially in comedy. I don’t enjoy that at all. Let me say the if heros like mohanlal or jayaram, or mukesh acts with comedians like indrans or harishree or jagathi or even srinivasan (:::), what is the difference?
  
  But I prefer hero versus villain, there should be a perfect combination?

  I think the next best is Jayaram - Sreenivasan combination(Friends, Swayamvarapanthal, Ayushkalam, Irattakuttikalude..)
  
  In comparison all mammootty-sreeni combination movies seem to be big flops :)

  Vince , Lal-Innocent combination was excellent in Vietnam colony.Lal- Jagathi clicked in many films with Kilukkam and Yodha being the best. Another succesful combination is Lal-Mukesh in many of the Priyan movies.

  I love their combination. I wounder why sreeny hasn't done any films latley whenever its his story and screenplay or direction it is simply the best middle class comedy and story. His stories and comedies are natural without the charaacter smiling
