I would like to know the difference in preparation of channa masala, chole & pindi channa. I find the ingredients for these recipes are almost same. Any inputs?

pindi channa incolves boiled tea and hence is black in color. Purists may put roasted coriander.Less or no tomato is used.

Chole and channa masala seem to be same. Chole is made by using channa masala. There are variations like Amritsiri chole etc. You may add potato etc.

 Hello Srividhya Mahesh!

 Conceptually none

Recipes and tastes differ, depending on how one makes it

Pind is the bastion of Punjabi food culture - I mean Rawalpindi.

Masala is a generic term used to denote some sort semi-dry spiced concoction

 Chhole is Chana

 Hope that helps
