shobana has gota be my favourite INDIAN ACTRESS ever - i don't think any other actress can rival her in her grace, elegance, coyness and downright classical south-indian BEAUTY. fell in love with her after watching thalapathy (1991), where she played the heroine opposite rajni.

can some one give me some more biographical info abt her:

is she a parpanar? - coz she always seems to play that role - conservative brahmin girl

who is she married to, and for how long?

is she still working on any future projects??

  "Age is not something you should hide. I'm happy that I'm getting older," Shobana said on the sets of her new film 'Maambazhakaalam'.
  
  
  "I was born in the year 1970. That makes me 34 now. Next year I'll be 35. Sixteen years from now, I'll be fifty. There are lots of people who are so curious about my age. Is there any rule that actresses should be less than a particular age? Age is not something that should be hidden," she said.
  
  
  "I don't know if everybody else feels this way too. As you grow older, your outlook towards life broadens. I have a lot of things to do- my dance, my acting career, my dance school, my writing 10 years ago I wasn't able to do many of these things.
