The story is about how, Srikanth, a young guy from the village side, bashes up his offenders with tremendous violenceDirector Azhamperumal's first movie was 'Udhaya', starring Vijay and Simran. This movie has not been released yet. The next was 'Dum Dum Dum', which was a striking hit. Now, his third movie is 'Jute'. Claiming that he would make a brilliant movie, with an action packed story, the Director has ventured with a 'soft' hero, Srikanth for an aggressive role! A major component of the movie has been shot in the countryside.


Srikanth and Meera Jasmine, have a conflict in the beginning and later on plunge into a love affair.


Pepsi Vijayan has directed the stunt scenes in the movie.
