Kamalahasan the living legend.Kamal born in 1954
acted in Kaltoor Kannama in his first feature
film at the age of 4.after that Kamal got is
first break in K.Balachander Aragetram which went
on to become a big Hit.Next in Aboova Ragangal
Kamal in only his 3rd movie as a hero won him is
first Filmfare Award.Than excellent performance
in 16 vayathiney,Yatthi(malayalam) and siggapu
rojakal earned him Filmfare awards and a state
award for 16 vayatineley.Raja Paavai in 1981
earned him another filmfare award by than Kamal
was already known as the heir to Sivaji in terms
of acting.Varumyum Niram sivapu earned him
another filmfare award.with all these awards
Kamal has lots of Masala movies namely guru,
simla special,Ram lethumanan,sakalakalavallavan
etc all turned out to be blockbusters.Kamal was
than at his peak and was closing on to super-

with sivaji ganesan in terms of acting skills
this movie gave kamal a fame at india level
for the most versatile actor in the country.
next Devar Magan won 4 national awards becoming
the first tamil movie to win 4 awards.Kamal's
performance earned him the Kalai Tilagam award
alongside Makkal tilam MGR and Nadiga Tilagam
Sivaji.this in the year 1991 Kamal got the
indian Govt Padmashri award for excellence in
arts.1993 was the year another National award
movie Mahanathi arrived.Kamal wide range of
acting skills was shown in this movie.This time
round Kamal has already begun making Quality
movies.Nammavar in 1994 yet again won 3 National
awards,Kamal acting was so simple yet very
