Oscar Film Ravichandran’s JJ audio release took place in style with screening of three songs to the media. While Padmashree Kamalhassan released the cassette, Director K.Balachander received the first cassette. The song Unai Naan with Madhavan and Amoha dancing on the Milas Island with eye catching locales and Reema’s gyrating her hips with the May Maasam Ponnu song will sure go well with the masses. While talking on the occasion K.B. said "When I watched Reema Sen and Madhavan in the song May Masam which has been shot at Vizag railway station I went into nostalgia being reminded of my film Maro Charithra with Kamal years back Oscar Ravi has the knack of identifying the best in the industry and here again the success team Saran and Bharadwaj have joined in JJ and given very good numbers". Kamal who was also reminded of his days at Vizag said "Unai Nan song have been shot abroad. From the kind of visuals which have been shot I can understand the amount of hard work and strain the unit has taken".

At the press conference held by Saran in the evening, he introduced the two heroines. Amoha, the Delhi based girl who was chased by the director and after much coaxing accepted her to act in this film. Tinsel town is not very new to the other girl Pooja who is already doing a film Pepsi in Jeeva’s direction. Saran was all praise for the producer Oscar Ravi for giving him a free hand. "There was absolutely no interference as far as budget was concerned. But producer Ravi was insisting only on one thing that the songs should come out very well and he would interfere with the songs part of the film only. So far Bharadwaj and me have given five films with 30 songs in total with each song standing out differently. The songs of this film were done in the first sitting itself and the producer also approved it instantly. And Venkatesh's camera, an added asset to JJ has captured the untouched locales of Greece", said Saran.
