ARR is a genius and to support it he had the best team to bring his compositions to life.
Along with him, we had the pleasure of witnessing some of the best singers in the world. Hariharan smashed with "Nila Kaigirathu" and "Bolo kaun hai wo", Shanker Mahadevan was a suprise package with "ghanana ghanana". The others were Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan, Sadhana, Mahalakshmi, Sukwinder and sweet looking Kartik. kartik looks really down to earth and he ravaged with "netru mun iravil", the prelude for Sadhana's Snehidane!
The show was good, except for Vasundara Das who killed with kadal virus and Shakalaka(english version). She ripped Tamil apart.
The show was a great deal for we people here. The turn over was 10,000 people and Vande Mataram with ARR and Jana Gana Mana brought tears and goose flesh to all.
Shivamani was stupendous with Zakir Hussain giving him a personal applause.
How cud I forget SPB. He sang "Kadal Rojave", one song, in three languages, tamil, hindi and telugu to address all present. He sang each line of the song in a different language. Now we know that ARR is not only a master of coeval music, but also an expert in selecting the best singer to do justice to them.

  Was Karthik there or was it Devan. Because Devan went with ARR's group to NEW YORK CITY, the same with whom u have mentioned.
  So was this a different programme. If it was Karthik can u tell me what songs he sang.

  Priya - NYC was also Karthik. Devan did'nt tour with ARR this time, as he had a falling our with ARR on the last tour!
  
  Karthik and George were the backing male singers and Karthik was the one who performed Netru Mun Iravil in Tamil, as a prelude to Snehidhane (Chupkese) by Sadhana, who sang in Hindi.

  Kartik also sang "Oh Hmdun suniyo re" with Shankar Mahadevan and someone else, forgot his name.
  He is simply unassuming. He was mostly involved in chorus work.
