TENALI has finally made it to the #1 position because PALAYATHAMMAN and VANAVIL have not been able to sustain their hold.Earlier reports said that the audience had divided opinion about TENALI and it would only have a good initial, but on the contrary it has been able to keep up its initial even in the second week.Among other Diwali releases ,the low-budget religious masala movie with special effects PALAYATHAMMAN has created magic at the box-office. So far theatres screening this "Goddess versus Satan" movie has been running houseful with nearly 80 percent being the lady audience. The film is expected to net around Rs. 6 crore for its distributors. Surprisingly VANAVIL, after good openings is slipping down fast.Vijay-Simran's PRIYAMANAVALE is having a steady run at the box office. The only new release this week VANNATAMIL PATTU starring Prabhu and even that was released in some centers on Sunday.
