In a recent report, Madhavan told reporters that he don't want to accept romance stories, but he rather like comedy stories because he thinks and affraid that Shaam from 12-B will took over his place in a very short time, by the way Shaam's 2nd movie will be realising out for next year's Ponggal festival. What do you guys think about this, is Madhavan have the potential to be a comedian like Vivek and Goundamani?

  Arvindwamy did as comedian in "Pudayal", the movie flopped, the he when to North to act in Hindi movies, the hindi movie also flopped...Madhavan just following the footstep of Arvindswamy....Madhavan also cuurently did the remake of 'Minnaley' in Hindi, but the film flopped in North....Another 2 to 3 years Madhavan will dssappear from Movie World just like another Arvindswamy....

  i personally know arvindswamy - and by the way the reason he stopped acting is beacuse he decided that he wanted to start a buisness which is doing very well and he also wants to spend time with his 2 kids. so - i dont think u should be the one to talk and call him a flop= in short SHUT UP!!!

  i think it is good for an actor to venture into many roles.a true and good actor is someone who can carry out any roles well..i think for now we have kamal, rajinikanth,vikram and surya are doing this.Vikram can be a rogue or even a sweet lover boy..surya can be a serious police officer to a crack-o.these guys are good...well maddy has shown us that he can be a lover boy(most of the time), a stern father, a gangster, a villain..why not comedian now???

  Maddy is not just a lover boy hero but also a very actor too. He has proved in lot of his movies. I would place Maddy in the same league as Rajini, Kamal, Vikram and Surya.

  Madhavan was doing good roles, but kamal made him change his hairstyle in Anbe Sivam & made him look like a comedian. Also, all his films after anbe sivam have been flops - nala damayanthi, priyamana thozhi, jayjay & ethiri (kamal's raasi)
