'Minnale' is the biggest hit of the year.I liked the film very much.The music is the backbone of the movie.Without it,the film would have been very ordinary.Even directors like mani rathnam ans shankar take great care to picturise every song.Does a good music and well picturised songs alone guarantee a film's success ? Has there been tamil films where the film was a hit commercially but the songs were not that good and vice-versa ?

  Well there have often been movies which do not rely on their movies for success. One example being Priyamanavale.
  
  Personally I feel, that if the actors and actresses are great and present a good face for the movie then well quite frankly the movie will probably be a hit or a superhit or in soem unusual cases a megahit.
