In 1999,we had a number of new actors in Tamil cinema.We had Manoj(Taj Mahal),Ajay(Pooparika Varukirom),Kunal(Khadhalar Dinam),Praveen or Suseenthra Bali(Kannodu Kanbethellaam),Ramankanth(Monisha En Monalisa),Udaya(Thirunelveli) and Amsavirthan(Maanaseega Khadhal).What do you all think about them? A few are very talented.

  I don't think Madhavan acted stupidly in Relax. The character he was playing was of a somewhat foolish, naive person. He portrayed that very well and hence you say he acted stupidly. Just cause the movie sucked didn't mean Madhavan's acting sucked. He was very convincing. His role in Alai Payuthey and his role in the dubbed Relax shows how versatile he is. Somewhat similar to Kamal Hassan because Kamal is one of India's most versatile actors. Madhavan has a long way to go but still he is ONE of the superb newcomers in the Indian silverscreen.

  ONE OF THE BEST NEW ACTOR IS OF COZ THE GREAT MADHAVAN.HE IS SO SIMPLE,CUTE,CHARMING AND HANDSOME.HE ACTED VERY WELL IN ALAIPAYUTHEY.THERE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT HIM THAT CAN'T BE SAID BY WORDS.

  I think Ramankanth who appeared in Monisha En Monolisa was a talnted guy.But he wasn't give enough chances to prove that he was a good actor. If he was given more films, i think he would sure become another Madhavan or Prashanth.
