I think Those who criticise BOYS donno what is happening in the real world.
Like the character of Vivek says in the movie " At this age every boy will be like this.then only he is a boy."
I think every human will have these sexual instincts and also a craving to explore what is there, which is not yet been experienced.
If that sort of feelings does not arise then he is only a 9.
---Its a idiotic move on Anandha Vikatan,Kalkandu,Kalki,webulagam(may be even others) for highlighting only the
negative aspects of the movie.
Except for a couple of explicit scenes, the movie is decent and every young man should watch the movie,make it a celebration
and forget it.(meaning, not to try what you see in a couple of scenes).
For those who are young at heart(I am no so young -in my late 20s) the BOYS movie MUST be watched in the
theatre.Even in Trivandrum the movie is running to full houses- (90% of the audience were
boys of 15-25.)
Every frame in the movie was really enjoyed by the audience(mostly malayalees)and watching the
song sequences in the big screen with DTS was a great larger than life experience.
Throughout the movie the vigour,power and celebration of youth could be seen.
(I have not seen these in thulluvadho ilamai).
This is where Shankar stands apart and once again he had proved he still knows the pulse of youth.
AR Rahman has taken a mega VISWAROOBHAM in this movie and what we hear in the audio player reaches
greater horizons while watching in theatre.
All the 'Boys'and the girls(esp.harini)had done an excellent job.
Vivek's role is different from his usual stuff and he had done it decently.

-Vayitherichal being shown as fire, burning inside stomach.
-Sendhil's database of 'Annadhaana list".
-Munna taking a photostat of his palm in which harini writes.
-The glamourised frames of locations of Chennai.
-Vivek's dialogues to parents of BOYS while all of them gather together.
-The Aiyappan song album idea from the 'Temple Employee'(One among the BOYS) and the following sequences.
-Calling the Sony company director in cellphone and singing "please sir"
-The eathquake scene which shows the uncertainty of life.
-The fate of 'Wanna-be' Drummer to play "Saavu maelam" and that following dialogue
" Saavula Vaazhvu"
-Nose cut thru graphics
-Solomon Paappaya as real judge.
