Shock is something new to Tamil cinema. A horror flick with a
difference.

Technically a great product,very faithful to the original Hindi
movie 'Bhooth'.

Meena excels and gives a electrifying performance. She looks quite
hot in the casuals she has worn for the movie. Her seduction/bedroom
scene with Prashanth evokes passions. Meena gives her famous horny
expresssion in the scene where she is in a nightgown and her naked
leg clings tightly around Prashanth. Infact, Meena looks much horny in the love-making scene than Urmila looked in the original Hindi version-Bhooth.

Prashanth gives a good restrained and underplayed performance.

Absence of songs is something new but works well for Shock.
Direction by Thayagrajan is upto mark.

This movie is worth seeing, especially for fans of Prashanth and
Meena.

Meena deserves a pat on her back for trying out something different,
acting differently and for aquiring a new sexy and trendy look.

  Meena is now sending feelers to Bollywood to act in Hindi movies. She has appointed a publicist for this purpose and has reportedly done a glamorous photo with a hi-fi Bombay photographer to promote her there! All the best to her.
