Naming Tamil Cinema in English????????

Nowadays, naming of tamil movies is not in ourown historic language and being done after the bloody english who has ruled India for 347 years (from 1600 to 1947). I heard the Tamils in Australia has decided not to view the film which is not named in Tamil. for example 12-B,Red etc.,

The movie title(in Tamil) is 'Inthaiyan' not 'Indian' as you mentioned .So that cannot be in your list.

How do you feel about Tamil films with English subtitles? What about people like me who are learning Tamil and want to see the movies. They are not accessable to me if they do not have English subtitles. I do find it strange when a foreign film has a title in English, not just Indian films. I have watched foreign films for as long as I can remember and always prefer to be able to hear the language and read subtitles. However, I have never wanted to learn French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Swedish, Russian, only Tamil.

I haven’t heard a single English film named after a Tamil word (or is that so?).
It’s okay for the Chinese, Koreans and Japanese to name their films after English words as the films have wider range of audience. I’m sure most of us have seen at least a Chinese film.
But Tamil films are not like that. The films are usually only reaches and attract the Tamil people. So why English names when 99% of viewers are Tamil???!!!
