Iyya sAmi Kallukadai KasatamarE,
ennai vitudungo, sAmi.
Fridge,
daa - denotes a higher degree of closeness or contempt.
An elder sister might address her little brother
as Endaa dEi. Or, a feudal landlord might address the farm laborer as 'dEi'.
But generally, in mainstream Tamil colloquialism , as in normal conversational Tamil, we do not generally address our younger sisters as -Endi. But there are a couple of exceptions. Among the brahmin Tamils, older brothers address their younger sisters as 'Endi'.
But poets, whether brahmin or non-brahmin, are exempt from this convention. They being male chauvnistic pigs, would generally address the women as -di. When the poets, typically Sithar types, address a woman as -di, it is the goddess in womanhood, the Sakthi - the life giving divine energy - that they are reverentially addressing.
When a man addresses a young lady as 'Endi', like in 'enAdi RakkamA', it denotes a level of love and affection.
Now coming to kakkukadai, there is no such kadai.
But there is a kakka kadi. My good friend, the other Kallukkadi Kastamer, will complete the following lyric - once again from an old movie, that I can not recall.
kakka kadi kadichi koddutha kamaru katti muttayi
shokA vAngi thinukiittu, vittAnayiA savari

Is it "savari" or "kottaavi"? The song, I think, is:
suNdelikkum suNdelikkum thirumaNamaam
iravil chOlathattai pallaakkile Urvalamaam
