I had been going thru' several threads in the hub and found all the discussions, somehow or the other, center about aryan-dravidian theories.
I have a quesion to the forum members:
(PLEASE NOTE THAT - THIS IS JUST A LOGICAL QUESTION AND MAY NOT MATCH WITH MY BELIEFS OR VIEWS9
OK- I take it that Hindu-ism (or vedic religion) is a creation of aryans to maintain their domination over the dravidian folks.
Some one please tell me - how different is the spread of Christianity in parts of Kerala and south TN...
How do u see it?? Is this not an invasion by the so called Aryans or some thing...???
What is the view of Dravidian parties on the spreading of Christianity in TN or south india.
Incidentally, it reminds me of a friend in Chennai - who is born and brought up in chennai with a surname Fernandez ( family who believes in Christianity and hence the christian surname) - who claims that he does not know TAMIL - despite of his 27 yr brought up in Chennai !!!! and behaves ENGLISH - when it comes to talk to an autowala in chennai!!!! This appears ridiculous to me - and makes me think that the CHURCH is provoking such anti-TAMIL seeds in him and such! Please comment on this..

Money always follws to a few whether it is Hinduism or Christianity. Before it was through land grants by the kings to the priestly class to maintain temples and the rest worked as slaves to maintain it. Thats how Indian system worked now it is the otherway around. My question is so what ? Sour grapes ?

christian missionaries are the biggest criminals!!
surprising that India has the most number of Missionaries. (Source: TIME)
You may wonder, out of all the countries in the world, why have Missionaries chosen to attack India? There are four simple reasons:
India is a tolerant nation – In no country in the world is religious freedom available to people as it is in India. There are dozens of faiths which all co-exist. Israel has acclaimed India as the only country where Jews have not been persecuted. One of the lost tribes settled in India, and since then the Jews have built synagogues all over the country and are practicing their religion in total freedom. When Parsis - victims of Islamic ethnic cleansing –fled Iran, then sought refuge in India, a Hindu King gave them shelter and ever since, they have been practicing, their religion in total freedom. There are hundreds of tribes who have their own unique religions and they are all free to do what they like. When China occupied Tibet in the 1960’s, India again took in hundreds of thousands of Tibetan Buddhists including the Dalai Lama, who to this day peaceful live in India. In addition, India has for centuries peacefully hosted Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and Jains.
However, Missionaries abuse India’s tolerant nature for conversion. Instead of peaceful co-existing with other religions as millions in India already do, instead they attempt to decimate all other religions through by conversion.
Hinduism is not a uniform religion – Unlike other religions, Hinduism is a religion with no founder, no leader, no commandments and no one God. Hinduism is more a way of life than a religion. Hindus accept all Gods as one, all religions as equal but different paths to God. Hindus are different from region to region, family to family. Therefore in this regard, Hindus are willing to hear the points of view from other religions. Missionaries abuse this tolerant and open-minded virtue of Hinduism for their devious purposes.
Access to India is easy – Technically by the Foreigners Registration Act, 1956, foreigners are permitted only to visit relatives and tour places and are forbidden from carrying missionary activities. However, in India, a vast nation with over a billion people, it is difficult to track Missionaries, especially in the rural environments where they usually operate. In addition, Missionaries funded by Western churches and nations often bribe local officials to cover up their activities. For example, Revered Joseph Cooper of the United States carried out missionary activities for 11 years before he was expelled after raping a 12 year old Hindu girl.
Missionaries operate in India under the guise of “charity” efforts when in fact they are simply “buying” converts through gifts and material items. In addition, by selecting a poor nation such as India, they can raise funding from unsuspecting people in other nations who believe they are donating to a genuine charity. By comparison, Missionaries can not work under the guise of “charity” and therefore have not been as effective in raising funds and converting in oil-rich Middle Eastern nations.
counterbhai i am from kerala i know what cristianity is
– In January 2002, American Missionary Reverend Joseph Cooper was expelled from India after being found guilty of raping a young Hindu girl. Cooper currently walks free and in a preacher in Connecticut. Western Media only reported how Hindus had retaliated against Cooper after the rape but Cooper’s crime was never mentioned.
In another incident, American Pastor Benson Sam and his wife Sally also were found guilty of abduction and rape of a minor girl. The poor orphan girl had allegedly been sexually abused and harassed for four months at the Bible Christian Centre, which had resulted in the issue of non-bailable warrants against Rev. Sam and his son.

Christians first wrote the english-to-tamil dictionary. Christians were the first to convert thirukural to English. Their contribution to indians in the fields of education, health care and social services are immense. If you still think biased, check your head and heart.

Tamilan,
your condemning of divine religions, like Hinduism and Christianity is so...untamilan!!
I don't wanna waste time. You aren't at all serious when you're saying this. I've only a few words to say.
There is a Supreme and He branched Himslef to the people on Earth.Shiva is the Impersonal Brahman and Jesus in the personal God. Both are One and My lfe.
People who do not realise that perceival of knowledge can go beyond your five senses are fools. Rigidness is when a person thinks that this are what he sees only. This is orthodoxy, not believing in an incomprehensible force.
The problem is that atheists think they are smart when those who believe in Him are smarter. And stupids are not Tamils!
