In Tamil dictionary Kallan means thief. Further stealing cattle was the proffession of the Kallan caste.
In which dictionary Idiyappam find the word Kallan =spy?
There were no records availabale for the spies from Kallan caste.
Otrar =spy. This is the only Tamil word I found!
