That her affidavit should warrant Contempt of Court is surprising. Further, the court's statement of how they have been magnanimous by reducing the six month sentence to a three month sentence compounds this non-democratic stand. While some of the statements of the affidavit might have been sarcastic and might have questioned the system of the judicial network and cast doubts over the fairness of the judiciary officals, did these statements really warrant the sentence? Further, what is the defined line of contempt. What about the freedom of expression and the duty of the citizen to criticize the govt?
