All times in EST +10:30 for IST.
In Karnataka there is a small region called 'Kudagu' where 'Coorg' living. Those people follows their tradition and culture very well. I heard that the language(Kodava) of those people sounds like Tamil.
Anybody in the forum know more about it?
If anyone from that community come into this thread it will be very good.

I am shocked to read Shanthipriya's response. It is a response that Senthil did not deserve. All it proves is that Shanthipriya needs a change of name very badly. To senthil, if you are interested to read more about Coorgs do look for " Religion and Society among Coorgs" by M.N. Srinivas. It is a old study done in the 1950's. There are also a lot of work on the language and culture by both Mangalore University and Mysore University. may be you would like to read a novel, by Masti Venkatesha Iyengar. It is called Chikkaveerajendra. I am a Coorg, married to a Tamil.I am proud to belong to both cultures and to be part of the larger Karnataka state.
Indeed Kodava language has many words from Tamil, Kannada, Tulu and Malayalam languages.(At one time There are many similarities between coorg culture and culture of malnad vokkaligas too.We have also had a lot of give and take between coorg and Kerala.

Hi Rajendra Cholan,
All those articles that you listed were written by Tamilians. So as per their nature they will always support Chennai over Bangalore. So no surprises there.
As far as Bangalore being part of Tamil Nadu, well Chennai has more telugites than tamilians. So by your logic, Chennai should be part of Andhra Pradesh?
Also, regarding ur note that many people were murdered and raped(??) during rioting, u must be kidding me.
The problem is that with Tamilians whereever they go, they push their language on others, they don't give respect to other langauges and the worse trait is to recruit all tamilian people only. So even if that person is good or not, as long as he/she knows Tamil they get recruited in jobs. That's what's happened in Bangalore. And the bigger problem has already happened in Sri Lanka. And I am sure the people there will pay the ultimate price for it.
