the answer to this question is more complex than what
people believe.but in 20 th century south india this
happened due to the below reasons-
1.brahmins of south followed excessive untouchability
in comparison to even north.
2.brahmins of the modern era led varying degrees of
hypocratic lives.the british and the muslims did not
care for the brahmins and openly made fun of them(that
they too were far from perfect is another matter).when
they ruled the eyes of the non brahmins was opened
wide open.
3.they owned most of the lands.they did not give
appropriate wages.the british laws of taxation further
aggravated this scenario.hatred began at the farmer
level.
4.the brahmins once they came out of their old
garments,stepped into modern professions pinching on
the livelihood of non bs,making their way into these
professions sometimes meritorically
and sometimes by recommendation by a relative.as the penetration of bs in the job plkaces was extremely high the recommendations were also significant.this did affect the prospect of some meritorious non bs.
5.the brahmins at work did not socialize with his colleague who was a non b ,but he invited even his subordinate worker who was a b to his home and even allowed some to stay at their homes.at office he spent time talking to his b cowrker but largely ignored the non b.
6.the brahmins openly joked and laughed at non bs,quite often in front of them.
7.the ritualistic life and food habits of the b,in contrast to the habits of a non b,made them appear like some alien specimens to backward caste colleagues who were not used to interaction with brahmins.people with close friendship with bs like pillais,chettiars did not see these things in such a bad light as they were themselves immersed in deep rituals.
8.the bs of villages were still living in a different era while the rest of educated people were changing in mindset.the rest of people could never comprehend a species separated from them in time.
9.to the educated,oppurtunity to read hindu law books resulted in hatred of brahminical set up and laws.as the books they read gave them an impression that the bs were haters of non bs.the bs at that time patronised some of these books.
10.the arrival of the aryan theory
11.the arrival of atheism in tamilnadu.
12.the arrival of pope's theory on the origins of tamil language.
13.the fun made of hinduism by christian missionaries.
14.the dissappearance of old customs except in a handfull of people resulted in a new indian with european perception of the world.not surprising since education was western.
15.illiteracy of a majority of non bs exploited by brahmin hating politicians.
16.dominance of north india got linked to brahmins .

  Dr.RC,Dr.Carthik and Dr.J have joined the illustrious fraternity which includes such notables as Dr. Idiappan, Dr. Geno. Dr. FTR and ofcourse the incomparable Dr. Hero. The language and deep thinking that goes in their brains distinguishes them from the poor souls eho are non dravidian. The rich culture is evident by the vocabulary that is handed over from mother to son in their crib.It comes easy. The brains are from their father, mustache from Dr. MGR, ethics from Dr. Shtalin and logic from Dr. EE Vay Raa.
  To be on their enemies list is not good (which is an understatement). Unfortunately my inability to be dubbed an idiot and get such a certificate has placed me on this list. It pains me greatly to the extent that I cannot sleep. I have no future in Tamil Nadu and however much I desire to go and live on the bank of cooum river, eat karuvadu and rice everyday,p_e and s_it inside my hut,watch tamil cinemas, this inclusion on the list has made that possibility remote. This hurts me more than anything else in this world. So I appeal to the dravidian elite that I am a fellow traveller and beleive in filth,s-it, dravidian language,cinema and kusbu and am allergic to cleaniness, honesty,. I do not ebven understand the sentence if it does not have a four letter word in it. For example at my first attempt in 5th grade I wrote in my amswer paper 'New Delhi is the Capital of India". I was failed. In my next attempt 'I wrote F---ing New Delhi is the sh-t fu----- capital of India" I passed with honors. Just because the backward teacher cvould now understand what I had written.
  So Dr.J.Dr.Carthik and Dr,Nedun please please kep up your informative and thoughtful essays coming with the dravidian language so that all of us can be proud.

  Dravidians should be against everything that brahmins are for. This means that dravidians should be against academic excellence, yejjamnassun and study. That is the reason for rejervassun. Do not become a traitor to the cause.
  Dravidians should be united against study and education.Your logic is that of a backward but still you act like a brahmin and claim that you are highly educated. You should be proud of being a backward dravidian and an idiot to distinguish yourself as a dravidian.Please do not think and act like a brahmin. Goddess kusbu will send you to hell and not dravidian heaven which is better than muslim and christian paradise. One gets 50 houris or you prefer 50 children to abuse, and tamil movies galore plus you can keep company of Dr. Geno,Dr.J.,Dr. Wilson and Dr. Rev Immanuel.amnd silluku.What else can a Dravidian want.

  I am a too Dr.Backward Dravidian to understand your Dr.Logic? Can you please help me out there Professor Doctor 8 degree? You offered me my very first Doctor like to all others you are mentioning above and you also offered me my very first ANNA University Certificate! So what do you expect from me exactly Professor Doctor! I was a Backward Dravidian already, before you stepped into my Dr.Room without knocking at the Dr.Door thrice and you offered me a Doctor from your AKKA University!
  I am already in my Dr.Dravidian Heaven and enjoying it very much but you don't realize that! And if you have 50 Dr.Children, well that is great too. They are quite enough for me between Dr.Breakfast and Dr.Lunch.
