Gandhiji was against conversions:

Unfortunately, Christianity in India has been inextricably mixed up for the last one hundred and fifty years with materialistic civilization and imperialistic exploitation by the stronger white races of the world. Its contribution to India has been therefore largely of a negative character."

Now they have their Bible with them, not their land.'' A famous Gandhian thinker J. C. Kumarappa, himself a good Christian, said the western nations have four arms - 1. The Army, 2. The Navy, 3.
