Tamil is the original Indian Language .Aryans who invaded India Brought Hindi (snaskrit) along with them.Now tamil is a National Language in Singapore,Malasiya,Figi,Sri Lanka and going to be in Cannada,Why not in India.Tamil is the world's oldest Language much befor Greek and Latin.What do you think.

  Neduncheziyan , following the dravidian culture of abduction of women , now wants Tulu Nadu.Where ever there are goodlooking girls , that part automatically becomes a part of TN.First they were claimimg South Karnataka , now Tulu Nadu , then what else ?
  
  Tulu is linguistic close to kannada than tamil.
  
  Plus the great Madhvacharya , the handsomest of Indians was born there and he gave the correct philosphy and the honest interpretation of the Vedas.
  
  But TN only produced crooks like Adi Shankara and the half-baked Ramanuja.
  
  Then how come Tulu Nadu becomes a part of Tamil nadu ?

  If you are a true dravidian , be proud of dark-skinned beauties.Even I like dark skinned women and most of my GFs were dark tamils even though I could have got punjabi gals.But Neduncheziyan does not believe in practicing what he preaches.
  
  If you are true dravidian you should give up those areas of TN where fair-skinned ppl live.
  
  Your dravidian movement is nothing but goondaism and movement for appropriateing brahmin women and territories of other southern states.
  
  Thats why the other three southern states have chosen north indian domination and hindi language over and above tamil domination and tamil imperialism.Atleast Northerners are more polite compared to tamils and dont insult ppl.

  Who told you Tulu is closer to Kannada than to Tamil. Tulu is closer to Tamil and Malayalam than to Kannada, being part of Karnataka and learning the Kannada language has made some Kannada words to enter Tulu language... Hale (old) Kannada itself is very close to Tamil, its only the Hosa (new) Kannada which got deviated from Tamil.
  
  I tell one thing, the people of Karnataka, Andhara have become immune to the Brahmin/ Northner rule. They never ever know they are ruled by an outsider who is not from their land, not of their culture, who corrupted their language by his language, Hale (Kannada) is a very poetic and a nice language, which is corrupted by these Brahmin Bas*****, and now the modern Kannada ia nothing but a dialect of Hindi...

  I don't understand why should we learn another langauge other than our mother tongue.. why can't all the Indian languages be designated as National languages with equal status with English as the only link language. Why can't we follow the countries like Singapore and Switzerland where all people live equals??? Think over...

  English should be the link language as it is already now.

  In India, no language should / can be made a national language, including hindi. The no. of persons not speaking hindi is much more than hindi speaking persons.
  
  English should continue to be the link langauge.
  
  And harish, base your comments on facts. It is U kannadigas who just cannot tolerate tamilians & U speak of tamilains being disrespectful?
  
  The acts of kanandigas against tamils are too large to be enumerated here. Tamilians are just not bothered whether U accept tamil or not. The greatness of a langauge does not depend on "numbers".

  U are mistaken. U cannot extend the same logic for everything. Other countries have a national language because the langauge is the same, only the dialect differs. In India, it is not so. Try to understand.

  EMERGENCY! Singapore is sliding back as a civilised country as more and more north (hindi) speaking indians are coming to live here offering cheap services for less talent. Please do not come i beg you. Our forefathers, the chines, malays and (tamil and sikh)indians did npt strive hard for chappati eating lazy bums like you to enjoy life here.   I agree with you on this one. Forget Hindi or Tamil, with all the resentment for the other language going nowhere, perhaps it is right that English be only official language. But English has long been associated with colonialism and all its crimes in India. How to wipe off that memory? And the fact that Hindi was the symbol of nationlistic feeling, including the south, during the independence struggle. Afterall the struggle was not too long ago either, just in our own grandparents' times. In Singapore, the British rule infact did a lot of good, esp in trade, so ppl perhaps cannot really associate the terrible crimes the Europeans committed in other countries.
