a few years ago i learnt about the existence of tamil jain community/ unfortunately i could not get in touch with their native villages.

where are they at present located? what do they believe- digambara or swetambara? what are their books in tamil? where are they in the net?

many of us do not knwo the influence of jainism on tamil. for example, (and i know the tamil saiva group will be on me like a ton of bricks for this,) the number of nayanmars was fixed at 63 following the jain tradition that each yuga will produce 63 great souls. (trisasti salakapurusha) there could be other examples. can we discuss it all?

  This farter idiappam/wise guy is against Hindi, against sanskrit , against Hinduism, against indian langauges , against hindi movies, against hindu culture, hindi people, against western culture. he is against anything which is not tamil.
  He wants everyone in the world to learn tamil, that too singaporean Tamil, he wants to say that only tamil dishes like idiappam are great,,
  
  I think his father was a real backward and got him with real backward values. I request singaporean govt to give him some real ethical and moral lessons by whatever means. other wise this man will always talk bad about every culture, religion in the world
  
  But i think Tamil is just open toilet , sick and backward slum langauge. Only loongis with foul mouth are expected to speak Tamil.
  No educated and cultured person would speak in Tamil. First of all it is known to rest of India as Madharhasi langauge and to the world as langauge of dirty scum filled people who are very low in life and unhygienic smugglers cum cheap toilet cleaners ,labours.
