Let us discuss about the south Indian dyanasties, meaning...let us compare and contrast.
What were the similarities between each dynasty? Like, what was the difference between Cheras and Cholas? Vijayanagar and Chalukya?
What was the dress code? Was Saivism deeply favored? Other than dialect, what made them distinct from each other?

Well Cheras Chozhas and Pandys and Eezhars were Thamizh and there is some evidence pointing out that Eezhars and Chozhas were and are same.
You should know that Thamizhr always fought for gaining power. Now u know it sure seem like the nowday TN. But it wasn't like now day TN well atleast ppl had more power than now day, seriously and each of these kingdoms dominated different religions most of the time after the last sanga literature of Thamizhr which date back to 600 B.C to the beginning of the A.D well in Thiru Valluvar age it's likey 547 B.T to the beginning of A.T [ After Thiruvalluvar = A.T and Before Thiruvalluvar is = B.T] and as far as i know cheras, chozhas and pandy's and eezhars were same! They spoke the same language similarly and it was THamizh and the changes in religions occured after the death of Christ by the English years. Accoring to Thamizhr estimation that it began some years after Thiruvalluvar borned.
Vijayanagar ppl are like Singhalese in the south..and.they were converted to follow this language Sanskirit and they took off the 'll' lakaram from their language which changed most of the words which used to be Thamizh and they then began to speak this new language Kannadam. Their religions then changed to Aryans and their music and culture also got changed but they still had some connection between Ancient Thamizh who lived in the south next to them. But they were like malayalese and i believe they began to speak this language and followed Aryan culture from 2500-3000 years from now. And chalukyas ..maybe was like Vijayanagar but Chozhlas helped southern chalukya lot of time and they had this political relation but i don't know i guess chalukya were totally different and Vijayanagar was like 50 different and 50 similar and Cheras chozhas and pandys and Eezham was same.
But u know these sanga ppl who were divided into 5 main groups by the land they lived. Which were 'kurinchi', 'mullai', 'marutham', 'neithal', 'paalai'. You should know that Chozhas had most of the 'Marutha land and Cheras had these mountains in their country and pandys were fisher and they had the sea ..and Eezhars were fisher and were farmer i guess that's what made them different..
and it believed that most of the pandys were 'maaliyars' and chozhas were 'saivars' and i don't know about cheras i guess they were saivam too..but i can't be sure about that and eezhap ppl prayed cobra and other gods. But they had the same dress code..every men did wear 'vaeti' and women had 'sari' as their national dress. Most of the men didn't wear shirts or any dress to cover up their body..and a person from who went around the world to see every culture and ppl wrote a book some time ago and in his book he named that lot of the men didn't wear shirts at that time because they were handsome and had a good body unlike now days most Thamizhr. I guess this is y we didn't invent the shirt. Well then u kno cheras are differenet and call themselves as malyalese and things like that.
