Is there hope for the children of India ?

The caste problems in TN ....the ideas of seccessionism from the Indian Union running around these rooms ....the idiotic religious violence incited by people not from India and we Indians falling to it willingly .......The petty turned powerful issues that are being developed between the Children of India -- the north and the south, and the immature squabbles with brahmins.
Is there any sort of hope for the Children of South India - Malayalis, Telungus, Kannadigas and especially our Tamil brothers and sisters ? Is there any hope left for unity between our brothers up north ? Is there any hope of being a true gandhian which is the perfect image of an Indian ?

What a pessimistic thought!
Caste problems have never been lesser now than before. It won't be surprising if caste is forgotten in the next few generations.
As for religion, there is a resurgence of ALL religions throughout the world but particularly in Asia. As people find new pride in their ancestry, religious fervour gets fanned.
But India is a far superior country where freedom of religion is concerned, compared to many other countries where religious minorities are constantly surpressed.
As India grows economically, unity among every section of its population will happen. Most of this disunity and holier-tan-thou attitides are caused by poverty.
Do not worry. India has all the makings of a new super power and let us pray to God that this happens during our life times.
