Nobody who posts in this Forum are angels. This is granted.

But there needs to be some basic decency and some decorum.

Personal attacks and vulgarity cannot and should not be tolerated.

I also understand that the vulgar postings are a result of unhappiness with some other people's postings, but the basic reason for this forum is DEBATE.

Anything is debatable and many good people have shown good ways on how to debate even with the weirdest of characters and have won much respect. A Christian hubber Kumar come to mind immediately.

We live in a civilised world and rowdy, provocative behaviour got to stop.

  Contrary to the popular perception , here in FH, even I dont support RSS or other Hindutva organisations blindly.
  
  I have my differences over many issues with them.
  
  They have their good and bad side like any other organisation.
  
  There also there are fanatics, however the number of fanatics in Hindutva organisations is much less in proportion than the number of fanatics in church or among other religious organisations.
  
  Theoritically RSS ppl say that they are open to all irrespective of religion and their concept of Hindu RAshtra is based on the cultural aspect of the country.This has been reiterated by the Supreme Court of India too.
  
  Presently the Indian Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister were all RSS pracharaks(preachers & workers like the missionaries).In Tamilnadu too nowadays I notice that almost every Tamil family is touched by RSS or any of its 'pariwar' organisations.
  
  I hear that many christians and muslims are also there in that organisation.They are not coming out in the open as the church or mosque will ostracise them.
  
  A good and know example is K.J.Yesu doss, a famous singer from kerala.He is know to be a RSS person and has participated in many of its activities(affiliates).His sons were refused baptisation by the church.

  BTW, while you are on KJ Yesudas, several years ago at the December Music Festival in Madras, he sang a Carnatic song on Lord Rama (from a Malayalam movie - His Highness Abdulla, I think). It was an outstanding rendition, and at the end of the song and the applause, here is what he said: "Today, in Rama's name, we are destroying, killing and rioting (at Ayodhya - these were the Babri Masjid days). People forget that Rama left Ayodhya without a fight on the word of his father. I really wish we would stop fighting".
