I was just watching TLC, and saw a presentation of angkor wat. FOr the people who dont know about Angkor Wat, it is the biggest "hindu" temple in the world built by SuryaVarman II. The presentation stated that the building of Angkor Wat extends a terrific knowledge about astronomy. It stated that it even shows that the temple, through its orientation and position , points to the knowledge about the earth's tilt and a precise prediction of the winter solstice, as well as the knowledge that the earths tilt produces a rotation around a stationary point by the earth every some 54,000 (I think I dont remember) years. DOes anyone have any knowledge about this? I would alos like to find out how theyknew about all this!!!!

Now she is trying to trace back Buddhist Monks roots to Thamizh..although it can be proven true that these Singhalese once 'WERE' Thamizhans...they have developed a new culture that is so against Thamizhans that Thamizhans will never accept them as one at an Infinity of time unless something like a wonder happen.
